But Kim Kardashian's family wasted no time in sharing in her excitement when the reality star returned home to Los Angeles.
And there was no expense spared for the celebratory family party, with Kim's mother Kris Jenner laying on a princess castle cake, along with real ponies covered in glitter.

She also posted snaps of Kim and her basketball player fiance posing next to a pair of miniature ponies adorned with celebratory garlands.
'My mom obviously went all out with ponies covered in glitter and a magnificent princess cake. Would you expect any less of her??' Khloe wrote next to the picture.

'It was such a happy night,' Khloé recalls on her blog. 'So much love in the air. I know that sounds cheesy, but that's the only way to explain it.'
She also detailed her family's reaction when they found out the happy news.

She later visited a clothing boutique on Robertson Boulevard, ironically called Curves, where she perused through racks of clothes before making some purchases.
