But just over a month after they first met Leandro has been happy to gush about his relationship with the glamour model and has revealed he is looking forward to taking Katie home to meet his parents.
The 25-year-old model has opened up about his relationship with the 32-year-old and he only has good things to say about the mother-of-three.
Feeling shy: Today Katie and Leandro, who has opened up about their relationship in a magazine interview, visited their local tanning salon but he seemed shyIn an interesting interview with Argentine magazine Caras published exclusively in Reveal magazine, the South American model confessed his feelings for Katie and said: ‘Am I excited about our relationship? Yes of course. Even better Katie doesn’t want me to leave.’
The couple, who met at Elton John’s Oscars party at the start of the month, have become inseparable since he jetted into the country little over a week after they first met.
The model has been accompanying Katie on her promotional tour to promote her latest reality series Katie.

And it isn’t just Katie that Leandro has been spending time with – the model has also been spotted carrying Junior, Katie’s five-year-old son with her first husband Peter Andre.
Speaking about her brood which includes Harvey, eight, Junior and three-year-old Princess Leandro said: ‘Katie has a beautiful family. Her mum is lovely and so are her children.’

Speaking of which Leandro is quick to gush he can’t wait for the Brighton-born model to meet his own family.
He said: ‘Yes it is true that she’ll be coming to Argentina with me.’
‘I’m going to introduce her to my family and all of that.’
‘I’ve only done that a few times in my life… I want her to know my roots and my world.’

But while Leandro only has good things to say about the woman he says ‘compliments’ him he isn’t so quick to praise Katie’s ex-husbands Peter,37, and Alex, 35. He stated: ‘She is divine but her exes for different reasons, always want to make her look bad. Some of her ex-partners say whatever they want about her for money.’
While Katie and Leandro are clearly enjoying the early days in their relationship and have been making public declarations about the other on Twitter Alex Reid has spoken out for the first time about his breakup.
The 35-year-old cross dressing cage fighter said: 'I was depressed... I've had some really dark moments over the last few weeks. At my lowest I thought it would be easier not to be here.'
